Some rumors said that Peja Stojakovic is going to leave Sacramento Kings next Season to join L.A. Lakers. I don't buy it. I don't belive Peja would like to play along with Kobe Bryant, if fact, I believe nobody does. With Vlade Divac retiring after next season if not earlier, there is no reason for Peja to join the Lakers.

Lakers have 4 palyers lodge at No. 3, icluding current starter Caron Butler, Devean George, Luke Walton and Jumaine Jones. Rumors is that Lamar will be shifted to SF to help handling the ball while Caron might forced to play G if he is not traded before the season start. So, what the Lakers need is somebody like a Dennis Rodman who can play tough defence and do all the dirty works or a PG who can handle the ball, play D and hit the trey. They do not need another SF currently.
Besides, the Kings are not going to let Peja walk away like this. Petrie is too smart for that.
